Abstract
"CATALISADOR DE OXIDAçãO, E, PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAçãO DE UM CATALISADOR DE OXIDAçãO, PARA OXIDAR UM REAGENTE EM UMA MISTURA E PARA A PREPARAçãO DE N-(FOSFONOMETIL) GLICINA OU UM SEU SAL" Esta invenção refere-se a um catalisador aperfeiçoado, compreendendo um suporte de carvão tendo um metal nobre em sua superfície, para uso na catalisação de reações de oxidação de fase líquida, especialmente em um ambiente oxidativo acidífero e na presença de solventes, reagentes, intermediários ou produtos que solubilizam metais nobres; um processo para a preparação do catalisador aperfeiçoado; um processo de oxidação de fase líquida empregando tal catalisador, em que o catasilador exibe resistência melhorada a lixívia de metal nobre, particularmente em ambientes oxidativos acidíferos e na presença de solventes, reagentes, intermediários ou produtos que solubilizam metais nobres; e um processo de oxidação de fase líquida em que o ácido N-)fosfonometil)iminodiacético (isto é, "PMIDA") ou seu sal é oxidado para formar N-(fosfonometil)glicina (isto é, "glifosato") ou um seu sal empregando tal catalisador em que a oxidação dos produtos secundários de formaldeído e ácido fórmico em bióxido de carbono e água é aumentada.
