Abstract
"PROCESSO DE RADIODIFUSãO, TRANSMISSOR DE RADIOFREQuêNCIA, E, RECEPTOR DE RADIOFREQuêNCIA" Um processo de radiodifusão codifica material de programa empregando códigos convolucionais tendo bits não-perfuráveis e bits perfuráveis e modula sinais de portadora multiplexados por divisão de freq³ência ortogonal com os códigos convolucionais. Os bits não-perfuráveis são transportados por um primeiro grupo de portadoras e os bits perfuráveis são transportados por um segundo grupo de portadoras, em que o primeiro grupo de sinais de portadora é menos susceptível a interferência do que o segundo grupo de sinais de portadora. Os sinais de portadora são então radiodifundidos para receptores que determinam se as portadoras do segundo grupo foram corrompidas e apagam os bits perfuráveis transportados por qualquer uma das portadoras que foram determinadas estarem corrompidas. Isto produz códigos perfurados, que são subseq³entemente decodificados para recuperar o material de programa.
