Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, E, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DA MESMA" Uma composição aquosa estável de revestimento para arquitetura resistente à água, opcionalmente estruturada, favorável ao meio ambiente (especialmente uma tinta), contendo um polímero aglutinante formador de película composta de um amido modificado pela presença de grupos de ácido carboxílico ou carboxilato inorgânico e ligado (provavelmente enxertado) a cadeias de monómeros mono-etilenicamente insaturados copolimerizados (por exemplo copolímeros "acrílicos", "vinílicos" ou "estirênicos"), permitindo a preparação de uma dispersão aquosa estável do polímero aglutinante que mantenha uma boa resistência a água na tinta seca. O amido modificado permite que sejam preparadas tintas com menos dependência de materiais obtidos de fontes não renováveis, que mantêm uma sensibilidade a água baixa.
