Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"TRATAMENTO DE FILTRADOS DO ALVEJAMENTO DE POLPA COM PERóXIDO"<D>. Descreve-se um método de alvejamento de polpa, em que a polpa é submetida a uma etapa de alvejamento com peróxido, após o que a polpa é lavada, e o líquido de lavagem da lavagem é separado da polpa na forma de um filtrado. O método se caracteriza pelo fato de o filtrado ser tratado com um composto de alumínio, como sulfato de alumínio ou sulfato de polialumínio, para a precipitação de substâncias interferentes, com material orgânico demandante do oxigênio e metais, de o meterial precipitado ser removido do filtrado, de o teor de alumínio do filtrado após a precipitação das substâncias interferentes ser ajustado a no máximo 20 ppm, e de o filtrado ser, então, recirculado para a etapa de alvejamento com peróxido. Com o método, consegue-se um consumo reduzido de peróxido de hidrogênio na etapa de alvejamento com peróxido.
