Abstract

<B>"CéLULA MICROBIANA, COMPOSIçãO, SEQUêNCIA DE NUCLEOTìDEO, REPLICON DE DNA RECOMBINANTE, USO DA CéLULA MICROBIANA, PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE UM PRIMEIRO METABóLITO, PROCESSO DE CONSTRUçãO DE UMA CéLULA MICROBIANA"<D>. A invenção diz respeito a uma manipulação da assimilação de uma fonte de nutriente em uma célula microbiana. A fonte de nutriente é preferivelmente amónia e a captação desta na célula microbiana, preferivelmente uma célula de levedura, está articulada a uma produção alterada de um metabólito tal como etanol ou gliceral. As células microbianas de acordo com a invenção compreendem uma primeira atividade exprimível da enzima que, quando manisfestada na célula microbiana, está controlando a assimilação na célula de uma fonte de nutriente, e opcionalmente uma segunda atividade exprimível de enzima que, quando manifestada na célula microbiana, está controlando a assimilação na célula de uma fonte de nutriente, a segunda atividade exprimível da enzima sendo diferente da primeira atividade exprimível da enzima, e uma expressão ou não expressão de uma terceira atividade exprimível da enzima que, quando manifestada na célula microbiana, está controlando a assimilação na célula de uma fonte de nutriente, a terceira atividade exprimível da enzima sendo diferente a qualquer uma, tanto da primeira quanto segunda atividades exprimíveis da enzima. As células de acordo com a invenção são capazes de produzir quantidades aumentadas de etanol em uma fermentação.
