Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PLANTAS TRANSGêNICAS E CéLULAS DE PLANTAS COM EXPRESSãO REDUZIDA DE INIBIDORES DE INVERTASE"<D>. São descritas células de plantas transgênicas e plantas com expressão reduzida de inibidores de invertase. A alteração da expressão dos inibidores de invertase é obtida pela introdução de uma seq³ência cDNA em orientação anti-sentido com relação a um promotor. A expressão da seq³ência de DNA anti-sentido é efetuada ou sob a regulagem do promotor CaMV35S ou dos promotores específicos para tecidos.
