Abstract

"TROCADOR DE CALOR PARA UM AUTOMóVEL E PROCESSO DE MONTAR UM TROCADOR DE CALOR EM UM AUTOMóVEL". Um trocador de calor de automóvel que inclui um tubo de distribuição (12) e um bloco de montagem (10) fixado ao tubo de distribuição 12 e sobre um orifício (30) na parede do tubo de distribuição (12). O bloco de montagem (10) possui uma parte de flange (16) com uma superfície (18) que engata aproximadamente a metade do perímetro externo do tubo de distribuição (12). O bloco (10) compreende ainda um dispositivo (20, 24) para fixar o trocador de calor a um automóvel (14), e uma abertura de entrada/saída (26) que se estende através do bloco (10) e em comunicação fluida com o orifício (30) na parede do tubo de distribuição (12). Ranhuras (19) estão, de preferência, presentes na superfície (18) da parte de flange (16) do bloco (10), duas das quais engatam partes elevadas (23) no perímetro do tubo de distribuição (12) a fim de auxiliar a fixar o bloco (10) ao tubo de distribuição (12). As ranhuras (19) restantes formam reservatórios entre o bloco (10) e o tubo de distribuição (12) para material de soldagem forte (21) que une metalurgicamente o bloco (10) ao tubo de distribuição (12). Uma luva (28), de preferência, está disposta parcialmente dentro da abertura de entrada/saída (26) e parcialmente dentro do orifício (30) no tubo de distribuição (12), de forma a prover uma junta isenta de vazamento entre o bloco (10) e o tubo de distribuição (12).
