Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA CODIFICAR ROTAçõES E NORMAIS EM CENAS GERADAS EM 3D". Um método e um sistema (102) para codificar um fluxo de vídeo utilizando uma representação compacta de rotações e normais (200). O método e o sistema (102) convertem as rotações e as normais (200) em rotações normalizadas e normais e então projetam as versões normalizadas por sobre um cubo unitário (215). Cada rotação e normal (200) é codificada de acordo com qual face ela foi projetada. Em adição, o movimento pode ser compactamente representado pelo movimento através do cubo unitário (215).
