Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PRODUçãO DE MONELINA RECOMBINANTE UTILIZANDO SISTEMA DE EXPRESSãO EM LEVEDURAS METILOTRóFICAS"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a uma proteína semelhante à monelina de cadeia única que é estável e que é pelo menos 100 vezes mais doce quando comparada com a sacarose com base em peso. A presente invenção também refere-se a um ácido nucléico que codifica a dita proteína semelhante à monelina. Preferencialmente, o ácido nucléico compreende ainda um promotor e uma seq³ência sinal para o direcionamento da expressão e da secreção da proteína semelhante à monelina codificada na levedura metilotrófica Pichia pastoris. A presente invenção refere-se ainda a uma célula de Pichia pastoris recombinante que contém o ácido nucléico que codifica a proteína semelhante à monelina, a um processo para obtenção da proteína semelhante à monelina da Pichia pastoris recombinante e ao produto do processo.
