A presente invenção refere-se a um peso para controle de flutuação para aparelhos de pesca ou aparelhos de mergulho e a um método para sua preparação. Mais especificamente, a presente invenção apresenta um peso para controle de flutuação para aparelhos de pesca ou aparelhos de mergulho capaz de evitar a destruição do ambiente natural, assim como do ecossistema aquático, por ser preparado por meio da extração de alumina do mineral natural do solo.
