Abstract

"PNEU RESILIENTE ESTRUTURALMENTE SUPORTADO, E, MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO". Um pneu resiliente (100) que suporta uma carga sem pressão de ar interna inclui uma porção de banda de rodagem de contato com o solo (110) e porções de parede lateral (150) estendendo-se radialmente para dentro da mencionada porção de banda de rodagem e ancoradas em porções de talão (160) adaptadas para permanecerem presas a uma roda (10) durante a rolagem do pneu. Uma cinta anular reforçada é disposta radialmente para dentro da porção de banda de rodagem. A cinta compreende uma camada de cisalhamento elastomérica (120), pelo menos uma primeira membrana (130) aderida à extensão radialmente para dentro da camada de cisalhamento elastomérica e pelo menos uma segunda membrana (140) aderida à extensão radialmente para fora da camada de cisalhamento elastomérica. Cada uma das mencionadas membranas tem um módulo de tração longitudinal suficientemente maior do que o módulo de cisalhamento da mencionada camada de cisalhamento, de modo que, quando sob carga, a porção de contato com o solo do pneu se deforme para uma região de contato achatado através de esforço de cisalhamento na camada de cisalhamento, enquanto mantendo constante o comprimento das membranas.
