Abstract

"processo de preparação de biosilicatos particulados bioativos e reabsorvíveis, composições para preparar ditos biosilicatos, biosilicatos particulados bioativos e reabsorvíveis e uso dos mesmos no tratamento de afecções bucais". é descrito um processo de preparação de biosilicatos particulados, bioativos e reabsorvíveis a partir de placas ou fritas de vidro, que compreende tratar termicamente as placas ou fritas de vidro em uma única ou duas etapas de tratamento térmico, em temperaturas e tempos controlados e em seguida moer o vidro cristalizado para obter o pó de produto biosilicato cristalino desejado, bioativo e reabsorvível isento de superfícies cortantes, que em contato com os fluidos corpóreos produza uma camada de hidroxicarbonatoapatita restauradora dos dentes ou seja gradativamente substituído pelo tecido dental e reabsorvido. alternativamente, inicialmente é obtido o pó que é então tratado termicamente para produzir o pó cristalino, bioativo e reabsorvível isento de superficies cortantes. para diferentes condições de processo, diferentes fases cristalinas são obtidas, de modo que é possível obter uma variada gama de silicatos bioativos ou reabsorviveis que podem ser usados isolados ou combinados, com aplicação para o tratamento de diferentes afecções bucais como hiper sensibilidade da dentina, fissuras dentárias e xerostomia. o biosilicato tem granulometria entre 0,1 e 30 micra.
