A presente invenção refere-se a um perfil U (10) metálico, laminado a quente, constituído por duas abas laterais (11), cada aba apresentando uma face interna (13) e uma face externa (14), e por uma alma (12) que se estende da extremidade inferior (16) de uma aba até a extremidade inferior (16) da outra aba, formando uma peça única, consistindo basicamente a novidade em que as abas laterais (11) apresentam uma espessura constante da sua extremidade inferior (16) até a sua extremidade superior (15), e sendo que a face externa (14) e a face interna (13) das abas laterais (11) são paralelas entre si e a face interna (13) forma um ângulo de 90<198> com a alma (12).
