Abstract
"MECANISMO DE INTERTRAVAMENTO PARA UM SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO". Um mecanismo de intertravamento é provido para um sistema de transmissão tendo uma unidade de engrenagem com uma pluralidade de relações de engrenagem selecionáveis. Um pedal de controle de embreagem manualmente operado é manualmente móvel de uma posição engatada de embreagem a uma posição desengatada de embreagem. A transmissão tem um par de trilhos de mudança móveis para selecionar relações de engrenagem. Os trilhos de mudança têm sulcos detentores que interagem com um par de esferas detentoras. Um membro de intertravamento está normalmente em uma posição de travamento, em que o membro de intertravamento engata em ambas as esferas detentoras e as retém nos sulcos detentores para prevenir movimento de qualquer ou ambos os trilhos de mudança. O membro de intertravamento é móvel a uma posição de liberação, em que o membro de intertravamento é desengatado de ambas as esferas detentoras, por meio de que as esferas detentoras permitirão um dos trilhos de mudança ser movida. Uma mola de intertravamento é solicitada para impelir o membro de intertravamento à posição de travamento. Uma ligação acopla o membro de intertravamento a um pedal de embreagem, de forma que movimento do membro de controle de embreagem completamente à sua posição desengatada faça o membro de intertravamento se mover à sua posição de liberação.
