Abstract

"CATALISADOR DE COBALTO PARA SìNTESE DE FISCHER-TROPSCH, SUPORTE PARA O MESMO, PROCESSOS DE PREPARAçãO DO SUPORTE E DO CATALISADOR E USO DO CATALISADOr". A presente invenção refere-se a um catalisador de cobalto para síntese de Fischer-Tropsch que é suportado em pentóxido de nióbio, a um suporte para este catalisador de cobalto que consiste de pentóxido de nióbio (Nb~ 2~O~ 5~) com área superficial BET na faixa de 30 a 160 m¬ 2¬/g, a um processo de preparação de um suporte de pentóxido de nióbio para catalisador por calcinação de um óxido de nióbio hidratado ou por síntese a partir de sais precursores de nióbio, orgânicos ou inorgânicos, a um processo de preparação de um catalisador para síntese de Fischer-Tropsch, que compreende as etapas de: preparar um suporte de pentóxido de nióbio, por calcinação de um óxido de nióbio hidratado a temperaturas elevadas ou por síntese a partir de sais precursores de nióbio, orgânicos ou inorgânicos; impregnar o pentóxido de nióbio com uma solução de precursores de cobalto; secar o material impregnado para eliminação do solvente; calcinar para a decomposição dos precursores de cobalto; e, reduzir o óxido de cobalto a cobalto metálico, sendo a quantidade de cobalto dissolvido em solução correspondente ao teor metálico de cobalto na composição final dos catalisadores e por fim ao uso do um catalisador de cobalto suportado sobre pentóxido de nióbio na síntese de Fischer-Tropsch para se obter hidrocarbonetos com número de átomos de carbono iguais ou superiores a 5 (cinco), contendo preferencialmente parafinas lineares na faixa do diesel, com pequena formação de leves, olefinas, aromáticos e compostos oxigenados.
