Abstract
"DISJUNTOR PARA UM CIRCUITO PROTEGIDO, SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA LOCALIZAR UMA FALHA DE ARCO". Um disjuntor (110) para localizar uma falha de arco (1) para um circuito protegido inclui contatos separáveis (5) interrompendo o circuito protegido e um detector de falha de arco (9<39> <39><39>) determinando uma falha de arco no circuito protegido. Um circuito conversor de analógico para digital (23, 25, 39) mede um valor de corrente de arco de pico (Ip) no detector de falha de arco. Um outro circuito conversor de analógico para digital (73, 75, 85) provê uma voltagem de linha para neutro de pico (V (Ip)). Uma memória (117, 132) provê uma voltagem de arco (Varc; Varc(Ip)) operativamente associada com o valor de corrente de pico (Ip) Um microprocessador (11, 116) determina uma distância (L) do detector de falha de arco (9<39><39>) até a falha de arco a partir do valor de corrente de arco de pico (Ip), uma resistência de fio (R) por comprimento unitário ou uma condutância de fio (1/R) por comprimento unitário, a voltagem de linha para neutro de pico (V(Ip)) e a voltagem de arco (Varc; V(Ip)).
