Abstract

"DIFERENCIAL DE DESLIZAMENTO LIMITADO DE RESPOSTA MAGNéTICA". A patente de invenção refere-se a um sistema de diferencial que inclui uma carcaça, um par de engrenagens de pinhão, um par de engrenagens laterais e um acoplamento eletricamente operável, incluindo um fluido de resposta magnética. O acoplamento seletivamente interconecta de forma acionadora uma das engrenagens laterais e a carcaça. Em um caso, a presente invenção inclui um rotor que tem uma pluralidade de lâminas que se estende para fora posicionada em comunicação com um fluido magnetoreológico. Um eletroímã é seletivamente atuado para se mudar a viscosidade do fluido magneto-reológico. Desta maneira, o diferencial pode funcionar como um diferencial 'aberto', um diferencial 'travado' ou um diferencial acomodando uma condição de deslizamento limitado.
