Abstract
"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE DETECçãO DE VAZAMENTO E MéTODO PARA LINHAS DE MANGUEIRAS EM ALTO-MAR". Um dispositivo e um sistema de detecção de vazamento de óleo são instalados em uma mangueira de carcaça dupla, em comunicação com um espaço de coleta, entre as camadas de carcaças interna e externa da mangueira. O dispositivo de detecção de vazamento de óleo comunica as informações relativas à presença ou ausência de fluido dentro do espaço de coleta para um local remoto. O dispositivo de detecção de vazamento é posicionado dentro de uma câmara, dentro do bocal da mangueira. A câmara se comunica com o espaço de coleta e coleta o óleo vazando pela carcaça interna para o espaço de coleta, entre as camadas das carcaças interna e externa. O dispositivo de detecção de vazamento de óleo é, de preferência, um sensor eletroóptico tendo um meio de detecção óptica para detectar a presença e ausência de fluido na câmara de coleta, e um meio de comunicação para transmitir informações relativas ao estado do fluido dentro da câmara de coleta para uma unidade de painel remota. A unidade de painel pode incluir sinais visuais e/ou audíveis identificando o estado e a localização de vários sensores e, desse modo, identificar a localização de um vazamento específico.
