Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA ALOCAçãO RETARDADA DE RECURSOS". A presente invenção permite um servidor retardar a alocação de recursos a uma solicitação do cliente. Quando o cliente requerer um recurso que requer recursos do servidor, o servidor aceita e reconhece a solicitação do cliente, mas o cliente é proibido de usar o recurso requerido até notificação adicional do servidor. Por exemplo, durante um processo de autorização, o servidor aloca apenas os recursos mínimos requeridos para manter a sessão e autorizar o cliente. Depois disso, o servidor aloca os recursos necessários para suportar a solicitação do cliente apenas quando os recursos se tornam disponíveis. Até então, o servidor mantém a sessão de comunicações sem suportar a solicitação. Desse modo, o servidor toma conta de seus recursos ao invés de os entregar ao capricho de um cliente. Também, um cliente não necessita repetir sua solicitação se o servidor não puder satisfazê-lo imediatamente; do contrário, o servidor aceita a solicitação e depois então começa a suportá-la quando os recursos adequados tornarem-se disponíveis.
