Um filme de embalagem (10) à base de um filme plástico (12) para a embalagem de produtos alimentícios em formato de bloco é caracterizado pelo fato de: serem providas no filme plástico (12) - uma camada de barreira (14) contra a passagem de vapor d'água e gases, - se desejado, uma primeira camada de laca de proteção (16) sobre a camada de barreira (14), - impressão (18) na camada de barreira (14) ou na primeira camada de laca de proteção (16), e - uma segunda camada de laca de proteção (20) na impressão (18) e, em locais predeterminados, uma camada de selagem (22).
