Abstract
"CONJUNTO DE VáLVULA". Um conjunto de válvula é projetado para evitar ou reduzir ao mínimo o efeito do "endurecimento por compressão" que ocorre quando válvulas controlam o fluxo de alguns fluidos perigosos e/ou corrosivos, especialmente quando a uma temperatura elevada. O conjunto de válvula inclui uma haste de válvula que tem uma parte de cabeça que entra em contato com uma sede de válvula de modo a fechar e vedar a válvula e uma parte elasticamente deformável. De modo a permitir que o fluido escoe através da válvula, a parte elasticamente deformável da haste de válvula é deformada para permitir a passagem do fluido por entre a parte de cabeça e a sede de válvula. Um elemento de propensão adicional, como, por exemplo, uma mola de compressão cilíndrica ou cónica, é apresentado para impelir a parte de cabeça na direção do contato com a sede de válvula. Desta maneira, caso o "endurecimento por compressão" da parte elástica da haste de válvula ocorra, a mola adicional assegurará que a cabeça da válvula pode ainda ser posta em contato com a sede de válvula, de modo a se fechar a assim a válvula.
