Abstract

"ARQUITETURA E SISTEMA PARA SENSIBILIDADE DE LOCALIZAçãO". Trata-se de um serviço e método de localização que fornecem um dispositivo de computação sensível à localização que é extensível por permitir que diferentes tipos de provedores de sensibilidade de localização opere com o serviço. O método inclui receber uma solicitação de um contexto de localização, adquirir dados associados com uma localização atual de um ou mais dispositivos de detecção de localização, reconciliar os dados adquiridos com relação a qualquer inconsistência concernente à localização atual, aplicar tanto um processo hierárquico como um processo métrico, ou ambos, e gerar um objeto de localização acessível às aplicações. O serviço inclui um componente de gerenciamento de localização configurado para rotear dados de localização, um motor de fusão configurado para receber um ou mais relatórios de localização gerados a partir dos dados de localização, reconciliar conflitos entre os relatórios de localização e gerar um objeto de localização, e uma ou mais interfaces de programação de aplicação de localização (APIs) acoplada ao componente de gerenciamento de localização para transmitir o objeto de localização do motor de fusão a uma aplicação.
