"PROCESSO DE OBTENçãO DE VIDROS LAMINADOS COMPOSTOS RESISTENTES A BALAS". Ou seja, um processo que se mostra verdadeiramente novo na obtenção de vidros laminados resistentes a balas, cuja aplicação abrange diferente áreas como doméstica, comercial, industrial, automobilística, e outros aplicativos especiais onde haja a necessidade de obtenção de vidros altamente resistentes às balas de armamentos de fogo diversos. O processo de obtenção de vidros laminados compostos resistentes à balas usando filme/placa de resina ionomérica, compreende as seguintes etapas: a) desenhos obtidos através do processo de engenharia reversa em vidros originais; b) desenvolvimento de matrizes de corte e gabaritos para fabricação; c) corte de materiais destinados a fabricação; d) lapidação de vidro; e) pintura da borda do vidro; f) curvação; g) laminação; li) autoclavagem; i) banho de resfriamento; j) inspeção.
