Abstract

"PROCESSO DE DESIDRATAçãO DE ETANOL E DE REFLUXOS ETANóLICOS, POR DESTILAçãO AZEOTRóPICA, COM ECONOMIA DE ENERGIA". A invenção refere-se a um processo de desidratação de etanol e de refluxos etanólicos, por destilação azeotrópica, com economia de energia. O dispositivo para economizar energia associa vários dispositivos que são notadamente: - o aquecimento em duplo efeito da coluna de regeneração da fase pesada CR, sob vácuo, pela coluna de desidratação CD funcionando sob pressão, - a retomada das calorias disponíveis no topo da coluna de desidratação para um conjunto compreendendo trocadores E1, E4 e compressor de jato(s) de vapor T, - uma dessolvatação, em terceiro corpo, da fase pesada extraída, alimentando a coluna de regeneração CR, por uma adição de água. A invenção, a título de exemplo, permite desidratar os refluxos etanólicos contendo 7,54 % em peso de água, até um teor de 2.500 ppm, consumindo menos de 50 kg de vapor a 21 ba, Vhp, para uma quantidade trabalhada correspondendo a um hectolitro de álcool puro, em uma usina de destilação com duas colunas, com o ciclo-hexano como o terceiro corpo.
