Abstract

"CONEXãO CANELADA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma conexão canelada. A conexão canelada compreende um eixo (1) provido com cristas salientes longitudinais (3) e ranhuras intermediárias (4), um cubo (2) que é provido com cristas de formato correspondente (6) e ranhuras intermediárias (7) e é adaptada de modo a ficar ajustada em encaixe com as cristas do eixo (3) e as ranhuras (4) de modo a prover entre o eixo (1) e o cubo (2) uma região de conexão que faz com que estes girem juntos, e um meio de vedação adaptado de modo a fechar a dita região de conexão. O dito meio de vedação compreendem dois elementos de vedação anulares (11, 12) adaptados de modo a serem aplicados a uma distância axial um do outro e adjacentes à região de conexão de modo que os elementos de vedação (11, 12) fiquem em contato contínuo com uma superfície do eixo (1a, 1b) em torno de toda a superfície radial interna e em contato contínuo com uma superfície do cubo (2a, 2b) em torno de toda a sua superfície radial externa.
