Abstract

"MéTODO PARA CARACTERIZAçãO DE UMA FORMAçãO SUBTERRANEA E APARELHO PARA MEDIçãO DE CARACTERìSTICAS DE FORMAçõES GEOLóGICAS EM TORNO DE UM FURO PERFURADO". Trata-se de uma nova técnica de processamento de dados em plena operação útil para extração de sinais da variação azimutal das medições direcionais adquiridas por uma ferramenta de perfilagem no interior de um furo perfurado. Os sinais relevantes de zona limítrofe, anisotropia e fraturamento são extraídos da resposta da formação mediante ajustamento da variação azimutal das voltagens medidas em determinadas funções sinusoidais. A orientação da estratificação é também obtida como resultado. Os sinais direcionais extraídos são úteis para obtenção de distâncias até zonas limítrofes e para tomada de decisões de geo-orientação ('geosteering'). Podem ser empregadas duas técnicas envolvendo inversão e representação em gráfico cruzado, dependendo da natureza da zona limítrofe. Uma Interface Gráfica de Usuário ('Graphical User Interface - GUI') integra um sistema destinado a facilitar uma definição flexível de objetivos de inversão, para aperfeiçoamento dos resultados de inversão, para visualização do modelo de formação bem como medições de inversão.
