Abstract

"MéTODO PARA GERENCIAR áREA FLORESTAL". Um método para gerenciar área florestal que utiliza diversas culturas genéticas. O método compreende plantar dentro de um lote de terreno uma primeira cultura genética em uma configuração substancialmente linear. A primeira cultura genética é selecionada para produzir árvores com valores elevados de madeiragem. A primeira cultura genética é plantada em um primeiro espaçamento de cultura e em um primeiro espaçamento de fileira que é benéfico para produzir árvores com valor elevado de madeiragem. Interplantada ao longo da configuração substancialmente linear existe uma segunda cultura genética. A segunda cultura genética é selecionada para produzir árvores para algo de valor diferente de madeiragem. A segunda cultura genética é plantada em um segundo espaçamento de cultura que é mais curto que o primeiro espaçamento de cultura. Podar a primeira cultura genética em um momento tal que o valor final da primeira cultura genética será maximizado. A colheita da segunda cultura genética ocorre em um momento quando ou o valor final da primeiro cultura genética será maximizado ou o valor final da segunda cultura genética é elevado. A segunda cultura genética é colhida em um momento quando a segunda cultura genética tem cerca de 8 a 14 anos de idade. A primeira cultura genética é colhida em um momento quando a primeira cultura genética tem 20 a 30 anos de idade.
