"APERFEIçOAMENTO EM DISPOSITIVO DE VEDAçãO DE PTFE". O presente resumo refere-se a uma patente de invenção para dispositivo de vedação, pertencente ao campo das autopeças, particularmente dispositivo de vedação dotado de elemento de vedação principal de PTFE (11) provido originalmente de uma fina camada de material de tipo borracha (20), suficiente para vedar os eventuais interstícios definidos entre a superfície de vedação do elemento de PTFE (11) e a superfície a ser vedada (1), para impedir a passagem de ar (30) durante o teste de estanqueidade do motor no qual é aplicado o dispositivo de vedação, teste esse feito com injeção de ar dentro do motor.
