Abstract

"TRUQUE DE VAGãO FERROVIáRIO". Um sistema de truque aperfeiçoado de três peças para vagões ferroviários provê mancais laterais de longo curso para maior estabilidade, um projeto de sapata de atrito 'larga' ou equivalente para aumentar a quadratura de armações laterais e travessa, um coxim de pedestal resiliente para melhor desempenho em curvas e maior resistência a desgaste, e um sistema de suspensão afinado e otimizado para vagões ferroviários terem uma capacidade de reserva mínima, menos do que 1,5, para aumentar o controle de movimento e qualidade de viagem, aumentar a resistência a assentamento da suspensão,e aumentar velocidade de limiar de variação pendular. Um tal sistema de truque de controle de movimento é capaz de satisfazer recentes normas, mais limitadoras, da American Association of Railroads, como a M-796, para vagões ferroviários tendo uma taxa de carga bruta sobre trilho de 129,7 t.
