Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA AVALIAçãO E TRATAMENTO DE CâNCER". A invenção refere-se a um métodos de tratamento de pacientes com câncer, e de preferência malignidade hematológica, que incluem analisar os perfis de expressão genética e/ou marcadores moleculares de um paciente para determinar se é provável que o paciente responda ao tratamento com um inibidor de farnesil transferase (FTI) e, opcionalmente, outros terapêuticos. Os métodos também são úteis para monitorar a terapia do paciente e para escolher o rumo da terapia. São oferecidos genes modulados em resposta ao tratamento com FTI que são usados na formulação dos perfis.
