Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE DIREçãO, INSTALADO NA PROA, PARA UM COMBOIO DE EMBARCAçõES MOVIDAS POR EMPUXO". O dispositivo de direção na proa é instalado, de maneira similar a um motor de popa, na proa de uma barcaça dianteira (2) de um comboio de embarcações movidas por empuxo. O referido dispositivo possui as funções de dirigir e propulsar e é controlado a partir do barco empurrador movido a motor do comboio de embarcações movidas por empuxo. O dispositivo é composto por uma unidade de direção e propulsão (5) que é fixada em cabeços de amarração (16) num ressalto de empuxo (3) na proa, por um eixo transmissor de força (7) e por um elemento combinado de leme e de propulsão (6), disposto abaixo da linha da água à frente da proa. O eixo transmissor de força (7) é composto por uma haste giratória (11) para transmitir o ângulo do leme e por um eixo (12), em posição coaxial dentro da haste, para transmitir a força propulsora. Na unidade de direção e propulsão (5) são instalados um acionamento elétrico (8) para gerar uma força propulsora, e um servomotor (9) para alterar a posição de um leme (10). São indicados, além disso, meios adequados (14, 15) para a fixação do dispositivo de direção na proa.
