Abstract

"ENZIMA RECOMBINANTE E USOS DA MESMA". A presente invenção se refere a uma molécula de ácido nucléico isolada compreendendo uma seq³ência de nucleotídeos codificando uma <225>-cetoacil ACP synthase II a partir de uma planta, ou uma variante, derivada, homóloga ou análoga de referida de <225>-cetoacil ACP synthase II. A invenção também se refere a uma enzima de <225>-cetoacil ACP synthase II isolada de uma planta. As seq³ências de polinucleotídeos da presente invenção podem ser usadas, entre outras coisas, para a geração de células ou plantas compreendendo tais células que têm um fenótipo modificado, e/ou que exibem uma característica desejada.
