Abstract

"PNEUMáTICO AUTO-SUSTENTáVEL". Um pneumático auto-sustentável é moldado de tal maneira que o conforto na rodagem seja maior, a durabilidade seja aumentada, e uma maior capacidade de rodar vazio possa ser obtida. O pneu de rodar vazio auto-sustentável é moldado de tal modo que a largura de base de talão moldado seja igual ou menor que a largura de aro do aro pretendido após o que o pneu deve ser montado. Ao se moldar o pneu com uma largura de talão menor que ou igual à largura de aro, os insertos de costado não se submetem a uma tensão adicional durante e após a inflação do pneu e a energia de tensão é distribuída de maneira mais uniforme através da construção de pilares de costado.
