Abstract

"PROCESSO DE COLORAçãO DAS SUPERFìCIES DE METAIS VIA MéTODO SOL-GEL, COMPóSITOS E USO". A presente invenção refere-se ao processo de coloração das superfícies de materiais metálicos (ferrosos e não-ferrosos) a partir da deposição de um recobrimento (ou filme) preparado via tecnologia sol-gel e aos compósitos assim formados. Mais especificamente, a presente invenção refere-se com maior enfoque ao processo de obtenção de uma solução sol-gel totalmente original contendo um óxido e/ou um complexo de um metal de transição que, após ser depositada sobre um substrato metálico e este conjunto ser tratado termicamente, dá origem a um compósito com diversas possibilidades de cores em suas superfícies. As diferentes tonalidades dos filmes formados são uma função direta das condições de processamento utilizadas na obtenção dos compósitos como, por exemplo, a natureza do sol, a velocidade de deposição do filme e a temperatura máxima de tratamento térmico.
