Abstract

"VARREDURA DUPLA DE ENTRADA PARA UM DIGITALIZADOR DE IMAGEM PARCIALMENTE DESATIVADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um digitalizador de entrada de imagem, como seria encontrado em uma copiadora digital, imagens são gravadas a partir de um primeiro lado de cada uma dentre uma pluralidade de folhas em um conjunto por um primeiro módulo de digitalização de imagem (ISM-1) e de um segundo lado de cada uma dentre uma pluralidade de folhas em um conjunto por um segundo módulo de digitalização de imagem (ISM-2) em operação padrão. Se for determinado que ISM-1 não está operando de uma forma satisfatória, o usuário é avisado através de uma interface de usuário para gravar as imagens do segundo lado com o ISM-2, e então colocar o conjunto de folhas em uma orientação predeterminada no digitalizador de forma que o ISM-2 possa gravar as imagens do primeiro lado também.
