Refere-se o presente invento a um substrato para cultivo de plantas ornamentais, e mais especificamente a um substrato obtido a partir da mistura de material particulado para o cultivo de plantas ornamentais que necessitam de alto teor de umidade e porosidade, sendo constituído predominantemente de fibras vegetais de fácil obtenção, mesmo em ambientes urbanos, tais como fibras de casca de árvores, e de casca de arroz carbonizada, e sendo de fácil obtenção e transporte.
