Abstract

"PNEUMáTICO". Trata-se de um pneumático que tem uma banda de rodagem com ombros, uma estrutura de cinta localizada abaixo da banda de rodagem e uma carcaça com dois costados, dois talões anulares inextensíveis e uma estrutura de lona radial. Os ombros do pneu têm um perfil externo contínuo que se curva radialmente tal que os ombros fazem uma transição suave do perfil da banda de rodagem para os costados do pneu; idealmente, o local dos raios que definem o ombro estão localizados no lado interno do pneu. O pneu tem uma estrutura de cinta formada de uma camada anular de cordonéis paralelos diretamente adjacente à estrutura de lona radial, sendo que a camada anular tem um par de bordas anulares opostas e um perfil curvo com raio contínuo. Localizada radialmente para dentro das bordas axiais da camada anular da estrutura de cinta está uma camada anular de tira de reforço. A tira tem uma largura de não mais do que 30 mm e se estende axialmente para fora das bordas da camada anular por uma distância de não mais do que 10 mm.
