Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A SINCRONIZAçãO DE VìDEO DIGITAL UTILIZANDO UM PACOTE DE RADIOFARóIS". A presente invenção utiliza um receptor de difusão configurado de modo a receber pacotes digitais que contêm selos de hora. Quando um selo de hora é detectado no conversor, uma base de hora é comparada no sentido de determinar qualquer diferença de hora entre o selo de hora corrente e o último selo de hora de modo que ajustes possam ser feitos a fim de sincronizar a recepção de dados com o equipamento injetor de sinais. O conversor comunica ainda a diferença através de um ponto de acesso sem fio que, além de transmitir o seu radiofarol de cronometragem interno, também envia a diferença de hora para o seu conjunto de serviços básicos de modo que ajustes possam ser feitos em sua base de hora. Estas mudanças na velocidade do radiofarol de ponto de acesso sem fio e o efeito sobre o oscilador VCXO de estação sem fio têm um efeito correspondente sobre a velocidade na qual os dados de vídeo são consumidos e, portanto, reduzem o risco de paralisação / estouro do armazenador temporário.
