Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A POLIMERIZAçãO EM ESTADO SóLIDO DE TEREFTALATO DE POLIETILENO". A invenção refere-se a um método para a polimerização em estado sólido de PET, o qual compreende as etapas de submeter material PET finamente dividido, apresentando uma viscosidade intrínseca compreendida entre 0,60 e 0,80 dl/g, a aquecimento em uma atmosfera inerte enquanto que fluindo na forma de uma camada fina, turbulenta dinâmica em contato com uma superfície aquecida a pelo menos 200<198>C, obtendo-se um material PET com uma viscosidade intrínseca média maior ou igual a 0,85 dl/g; vantajosamente, o método acima é realizado com o auxílio de um turbo-aquecedor (T) compreendendo um corpo tubular cilíndrico (1) equipado com uma jaqueta de aquecimento (4), com aberturas de entrada e saída (5, 6) e com um rotor com lâminas (7) suportado de forma rotativa em seu interior.
