Abstract
"SISTEMA DE RECONHECIMENTO DE PERIGO PARA VEìCULOS". A presente invenção se refere a um sistema de reconhecimento de perigo para veículos, apresentando pelo menos um dispositivo de detecção das imediações laterais e traseiras, um dispositivo de interpretação das imediações e um dispositivo de apoio às reações do motorista, sendo que o dispositivo de detecção das imediações percebe objetos em movimento, que se movimentam em relação ao veículo portador do sistema de reconhecimento de perigo. O sistema de reconhecimento de perigo apresenta dois sensores orientados em sentido contrário à direção de deslocamento. Ele compreende pelo menos uma unidade de avaliação e interpretação para cada sensor para determinar os dados geométricos e os dados de movimento do objeto detectado. Além disto, ele apresenta pelo menos uma unidade indicadora para cada sensor. Além disto, ele compreende pelo menos um dispositivo de informação, de comando e/ou de regulação que atua sobre o sistema de frenagem do veículo, o sistema de direção do veículo e/ou outros blocos funcionais do veículo. Em conformidade com a presente invenção, é desenvolvido um sistema de reconhecimento de perigo para veículos, apresentando pelo menos um dispositivo de detecção das imediações laterais e traseiras, que reconhece autonomamente situações de perigo existentes ou iminentes e que leva o motorista que não está reagindo no devido intervalo de tempo a verificar a situação, pelo menos através de um dispositivo óptico.
