Abstract
"DERIVADOS DO áCIDO 10,10-DIALQUIL PROSTANóICO COMO AGENTES PARA O ABAIXAMENTO DA PRESSãO INTRAOCULAR". A presente invenção proporciona um método para o tratamento da hipertensão ocular ou glaucoma, que compreende a administração a um animal que tenha hipertensão ocular ou glaucoma, de uma quantidade terapeuticamente eficaz de um composto representado pela fórmula geral (I), na qual a linha pontilhada indica a presença ou a ausência de uma ligação, a borda interrompida indica a configuração a (para baixo) e o triângulo sólido indica a configuração <225> (para cima); B é uma ligação covalente simples, dupla ou tripla; n é 0 a 6; X é CH~ 2~, S OU O; Y é qualquer sal farmaceuticamente aceitável de CO~ 2~H ou CO~ 2~R, CONR~ 2~, CONHCH~ 2~CH~ 2~OH, CON(CH~ 2~CH~ 2~OH)~ 2~, CH~ 2~OR, P(O)(OR)~ 2~, CONRSO~ 2~R, SONR~ 2~, ou a fórmula (Ia) na qual R é H, C~ 1-6~ alquila ou C~ 2-6~ alquenila; R¬ 2¬ e R¬ 3¬ são C~ 1-6~ alquila linear que podem ser o mesmo ou diferentes, e podem estar ligados um com o outro de tal forma que eles formem um anel que incorpora o carbono ao qual eles estão ligados comumente.
