Abstract

"PRé-IMPREGNADO". A presente invenção refere-se a pré-impregnados obteníveis por impregnação de um papel de base com uma combinação de impregnação termicamente reticulável, e a um processo para a produção dos mesmos. A combinação de impregnação contém uma solução de resina isenta de formaldeído, termicamente reticulável e uma dispersão polimérica. A relação de mistura da solução de resina para a dispersão polimérica na combinação de impregnação é de 45:55 a 10:90 (sólido:sólido). Após secagem, o pré-impregnado tem um grau de reticulação de pelo menos 10% e no máximo de 85% e um teor de umidade residual de 2 a 3% em peso. Os pré-impregnados de acordo com a invenção possuem propriedades melhores do que os pré-impregnados contendo formaldeído e isentos de formaldeído já conhecidos, em relação à capacidade de impressão e à resistência superficial (resistência tesa), mesmo imediatamente ao deixar a máquina de produção de papel. Ao mesmo tempo, no entanto, mantêm altas impermeabilidade superficial (alta resistência a verniz) e estabilidade dimensional/planura.
