"PLANTAS TRANSGêNICAS MODIFICADAS PARA ACUMULAR FRUTOOLIGOSSACARìDEOS E SUA PRODUçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção uma planta transgênica que acumula um frutooligossacarídeo, compreendendo a etapa de transformação de uma planta com um construto de gene compreendendo um gene que codifica beta-frutofuranosidase capaz de converter sacarose em um frutooligossacarídeo, e uma planta transgênica produzida pelo processo.
