Abstract
"GáS PROTETOR PARA SOLDAGEM A ARCO, COMPOSIçãO, E, PROCESSO PARA SOLDAGEM A ARCO DE METAL COM GáS". A invenção descrita é uma composição e um processo para empregar um gás protetor em soldagem a arco. A composição descrita inclui oxigênio em uma quantidade entre cerca de 0,6% e cerca de 1,9%, hélio em uma quantidade entre cerca de 10% e cerca de 24%, e o restante consistindo essencialmente de argónio. A invenção pode ser usada em soldagem automatizada de velocidade alta para resultar em velocidade de soldagem significativamente melhorada, tolerância de ajuste de junta, e minimização de queima ao mesmo tempo mantendo excelentes características mecânicas.
