Abstract

"TUBO DE VAZAMENTO E MéTODO PARA LINGOTAR UMA CORRENTE DE METAL EM FUSãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um tubo de vazamento, para lingotar metal em fusão. O tubo de vazamento é adaptado para reduzir a turbulência e perturbações no molde, desse modo produzindo um efluxo uniforme. O tubo de vazamento inclui um orifício de saída, com pelo menos uma lingüeta, para prover pelo menos duas fendas em cada lado da lingüeta. As fendas geram fluxos contra-rotativos, que resultam em efluxo mais difuso e mais homogêneo. Vantajosamente, tal efluxo pode reduzir a assimetria e obstrução de alumina prejudiciais dentro do tubo de vazamento.
