Abstract

"ASSENTO DE SEGURANçA PARA UMA EMBARCAçãO MARINHA OU OUTRO VEìCULO". A presente invenção refere-se a um conjunto de assento de segurança, incluindo um assento ou suporte de ocupante semelhante estruturado para manter um ocupante, tal como uma criança ou um jovem, em uma orientação predeterminada, substancialmente vertical, em relação ao veículo, durante seu deslocamento. Um conjunto de estabilização inclui uma porção de orientação móvel com o veículo em relação ao suporte de ocupante por toda uma faixa de orientações substancialmente universal, de modo a compensar qualquer movimento do veículo, incluindo oscilação lateral, giro, aceleração, desaceleração, etc, que tenderia a deslocar o ocupante e o suporte de ocupante da orientação preferida. Em uma concretização, o suporte de ocupante inclui um conjunto de flutuação, bem como uma estrutura de lastro, em que o suporte de ocupante é montado removivelmente em uma embarcação aquática e é estruturado para manter um ocupante em uma orientação flutuante, acima da superfície, na água, no caso de uma emergência.
