Abstract

"CONTROLE DE ADMISSãO E ALOCAçãO DE RECURSOS EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO QUE SUPORTA QUALIDADE DE SERVIçO". Um método e equipamento para controle de admissão em um sistema de comunicação. Um elemento de Rede de Acesso (AN ) determina recursos disponíveis. Quando recursos disponíveis são suficientes para suportar as exigências de um fluxo de aplicação solicitado, a AN admite o fluxo de aplicação. A AN periodicamente, e em eventos de disparo, atualiza uma medição de recursos disponíveis. O controle de admissão pode operar em coordenação com um programador que aplica um fator de compensação a cada tipo de fluxo, e um fator de compensação para fluxos agregados de um dado usuário.
