Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA CAMADA DE GáS DE AMORTECIMENTO". Trata-se de uma camada de gás de amortecimento que serve para suportar uma folha de vidro pré-aquecida, e que é produzida por uma câmara que se encontra ligada a uma fonte (21) de gás comprimido. A parede superior (10) da câmara é adaptada ao formato da folha de vidro e possui uma pluralidade de aberturas para passagem de gás na forma de bocais (14), que compreendem um espaço vazado de admissão (22), e subseqüentemente ao mesmo, um orifício de saída (16) que se alarga progressivamente, com uma área de saída de bocal (15). A parede superior (10) da câmara tem um maior grau de perfuração (soma das áreas de saída (15) dos bocais relativamente à área total da respectiva zona) em sua zona marginal (12, 13) do que em sua zona central (11). Os bocais asseguram que não possam vir a ocorrer marcas de jato. O gás da camada de gás de amortecimento pode igualmente fluir em saída lateralmente sem perturbações, de tal forma que não se encontram presentes bordas de resfriamento e é correspondentemente evitada a ocorrência de sombras de resfriamento.
