Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA SELECIONAR REDE DE COMUNICAçãO COM BASE EM LOCALIZAçãO GEOGRáFICA EM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO". São apresentados um sistema e um método para acelerar aquisição de um canal de operação em um dispositivo telefónico de comunicação sem fio. O método ativa um dispositivo telefónico de comunicação sem fio e identifica a localização geográfica do dispositivo sem fio. O método correlaciona um Módulo de Atribuição de Números (NAM) com informações de localização geográfica e seleciona o NAM. O método correlaciona também um grupo de canais predeterminado em uma Lista de Prioridade de Roaming (PRL) no NAM selecionado com informações de localização geográfica e seleciona o grupo de canais. O método varre os canais na PRL começando com os canais do grupo de canais selecionado.
