Abstract

"RECEPTOR SEM FIO PARA DETECçãO DE MOVIMENTO E MéTODO PARA MONITORAMENTO DO SINAL DO MESMO". Um transceptor sem fio portátil (104) incluindo um receptor (206) para monitorar transmissões de transceptores vizinhos (106A e 106B) para selecionar um transceptor para utilizar para comunicações, é descrito. O transceptor sem fio portátil (104) possui ainda um detector de movimento (204) para determinar se o transceptor sem fio portátil (104) está ou não em movimento. Se for determinado que o transceptor sem fio portátil (104) não está em movimento, um processador (202) altera o escalonamento para monitoramento dos transceptores vizinhos (106A e 106B) , de modo que se o monitoramento seja realizado de forma menos freqüente, reduzindo assim o consumo de potencia por parte do transceptor sem fio portátil (104).
